Surprise, surprise, the '70s was referenced backstage at Etro Spring 2011, proving that the disco era is officially the place to look for inspiration this Summer. The seriously smoky purple eye was the focal point of the look and Charlotte Tilbury, the makeup artist behind the statement eye, says the colour suits everyone. I love it, mainly because I've been banging on about how on-trend purple is for ages now and even went to the trouble of finding you some lovely examples and products so you can have this look — or a toned down version — by lunchtime. Schweet. A nude caramel gloss and hair with a little bounce and movement completed the look nicely. Me likey. You too? It's disco diva and drop dead gorgeous. LOVE.
