2011 Spring Milan Fashion Week Backstage Beauty Report: Jil Sander
2011 Spring Milan Fashion Week: Jil Sander

Peter Philips appears to be on a one-man mission to bring back the bold lip. No arguments here, Mr. Philips. Keep up the good, work I say. First of course, there was the trio of neon brights at Fendi, and then now there is the perfect, almost powdery-matte fuchsia at Jil Sander. LOVE. It's clearly the standout of the entire look, with the Chanel Creative Director forgoing mascara and using only a beige shade to water-line the eyes. (Psst, those who didn't know, white liner is totes ovah. It's all about a more natural-looking hue now to make eyes pop.) Paired with porcelain skin and brushed, yet not defined, brows, it's an aces from me. A hot pink lip is your BFF for Summer. Never forget it. Team with a textured back bun, just like the one that Paul Hanlon created for the Jil Sander models. For me it's the perfect garden party look.
