2011 Spring New York Fashion Week Bactsgae Beauty Report: Issac Mizrahi

The Issac Mizrahi models were pretty much a blank canvas save for the defined brows and super punchy pout that Dick Page gave them. There didn't seem to be much in the way of cheek colour or facial contouring. Even though I'm a fan of the bright lip, this look wasn't one of my faves. I think the pink-coral colour alone works but throw in them bold brows and black mascara and it's instantly too-heavy for Spring. If you're going to wear it, definitely bring it out at night, and try a brown mascara and less filled-in brows. The hair had that bedhead-flyaway feel that we've seen at a few shows now. Eugene Souleiman backcombed and put models' hair in hairnets, which left a few of the styles with that flat, slept-in style after a big party. Thoughts?
