2011 Spring New York Fashion Week Beauty Report: Vera Wang

I know that Vera Wang's Spring 2011 hair is So Not Practical but something about it, I love. It's like Betty Draper meets fairy floss. The backcombed bonanza was created by Jimmy Paul for Bumble and Bumble and models' hair was pulled and primped into a mass of volume, before being twisted into one of two styles: a bob or French twist. The French twist is my favourite. Would you consider wearing a less humongous version of it? The makeup look is soft, shimmering and romantic. It's really all about the lids, as both the lip and lashes were left nude. I love how the light sparkle extends in an semi-circle from the brow to the cheekbone. Purddy.
