Diane Kruger and her Les adieux à la Reine (aka Farewell, My Queen) co-stars Léa Seydoux and Virginie Ledoyen attended the film's premiere at La Reserve in Paris last night. Diane was her usual flawless self wearing her hair in a textured ponytail which she teamed with gold shadow on her inner eye and a beautiful nude gloss. Léa — who you might recognise from the Prada Candy commercial — recently lopped off her long blonde locks and last night she showcased another new style; this time a change of colour, joining Rooney Mara in the jet-black pack. We'll bring you more details closer to the release date, but tell us, are you every bit as excited about them as us?

The Hunger Games has hit London, with the film's stars hitting the red carpet for the premiere yesterday. Jennifer Lawrence donned another shimmering golden gown, this time leaving the smoky eye at home. Instead, the 21-year-old actress opted for a slick of black liner along her upper lashline and a wash of gold eyeshadow, her hair tied back in a loose ponytail complete with a choppy fringe. Co-star Elizabeth Banks switched up her sleek bob for short, tousled waves and a bronzed complexion complete with lashings of mascara. See the rest of the looks.
Considering mascara is an everyday item for most of us, it's not something that all of us have nailed. There's the danger of clumpy lashes on one end of the spectrum and spidery lashes on the other. But makeup maestro Tom Pecheux is on the case. Backstage at the Autumn/Winter 2012 shows, the Creative Director of Estée Lauder revealed his top mascara tip: "Basically, I don’t like it when lashes look like spider legs, so for many years I’ve been playing with black mascara on top lashes and brown mascara on bottom lashes." It's a quick and easy tip and created a look that "women fell in love with," Pecheux says. And so the brand set about developing Sumptuous Two Tone Eye Opening Mascara ($58), which will hit counters on June 3. Designed with two brushes — a thicker one for black mascara to be used on the upper lashes and a smaller one with brown mascara for lower lashes — the lighter colour on the lower lash line "works better because black can often 'drag the eye down' or give eyes a 'spider leg' effect."
