Anne Hathaway is back to being a brunette! She showed off her newly dyed brown hair while grabbing coffee in NYC yesterday. Anne recently bleached her hair platinum blonde when she attended the Met Gala in the Big Apple earlier this month. She said at the event that she went for the dramatic hair change so she could channel music icon Debbie Harry for the night's punk theme. Anne kept her new flaxen-haired 'do for a few weeks, but it looks like she has now returned to her darker roots. She may have returned to her original hair colour as she prepares to work on two new films, Song One and Interstellar, which are both slated to start filming this year.

Her pixie cut was blow dried smooth and silky, creating a slight wispy bang that swept across her forehead. Reminiscent of the look model Twiggy wore in the '60s, this demure coif was quite a departure from the high-volume bouffant Anne donned on the red carpet on Tuesday. With such diversity this early on, we're looking forward to seeing what Anne does next.
