RAFW 2010: Sleek, Smooth and a Little Bit '60s at Ksubi

The Ksubi boys did the whole gelled-top-half-of-the-hair (that's been so popular at this season's RAFW) back in S/S 2007/8 so they couldn't very well do it again now. Instead, Hair Director Jon Pulitano used Cloud Nine straighteners to create the smoothest, most pin-straight hair that we've seen all week. It's all about good product picks. I recommend Redken Power Tame 16 to slim down crazy-ass hair and leave the unruliness behind (I always mix in a little Align 12 too, as my hair is totes frizzbombtastic), then finish up with Glass 01 and you'll be one super-sleek lady. Now, I was expecting to see something soft in the makeup dept with that kind of hair, Arnsdorf-esque, I thought. But that was before I remembered that one should always expect the unexpected with those Ksubi rascals. So accompanying that gorgeous, soft hair was heavy under-eye kohl that made the models look as though they'd been watching Titanic on repeat. It had a '60s feel to it, I thought, and was smudged up (or down really), making it the focal point of the look as the lips and upper lids were left neutral. I feel it my duty to warn you that innocent bystanders will think you've had a falling out with the boy if you deem it suitable for wearing.
