Benefit has always stuck to powder-based foundations, but that's all set to change. After four years of research and development, the brand is premiering its first liquid foundation: Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow ($50). It has the highest broad-spectrum sunscreen protection possible, clocking in at a formidable 25 PA++++. It also comes in nine shades that correspond exactly to Benefit's already-popular Hello Flawless Cover-Up Powders, which makes getting a colour match especially easy for current Benefit fans. Plus, the variety on offer means that there are matches for deeper skin tones, too. The texture is very light, so you get buildable coverage alongside a more natural look, too. And the oil-free formula is brightening and plumping. We recommend using a foundation brush to apply it as the liquid texture means that this isn't really a sponge-friendly foundation and applying with your fingers doesn't always end up with a smooth result.
