It's a little odd, putting Bobbi Brown and colour in the same sentence: she is after all the woman who put nudes on the map, who made us see the sense in keeping the makeup palette simple. But like anything that she puts her name to, she's thinking of you first. She's not suggesting you take orange or red shadow right up to the eyelid, what she is saying is that injecting a little colour, alongside your more muted shades, isn't all bad. Her new Color Strips range, which hits stores this month, features four five-shade eye strips and two three-shade lip/cheek stripes, designed to be stored in your very own custom-built palette. The strips feature one 'pop' of colour and other, wearable shades, hand-selected by Bobbi. I'm beyond obsessed with the Orchid and Bonfire Eye Shadow Strips. What do you think? Are you a fan of wearing colour anyway or have you always shied away from it? Will these change your mind?
The Bobbi Brown Empty Color Strips Palette is free with the purchase of one Eye Shadow Strip ($60 each) and one Pot Rouge Strip ($60 each).
