Chanel Powder Blue Nail Polish: Next Trend?

In recent months Chanel has dodgemed its way past traditional nail brands to establish itself as the leading trendsetter in polish. The proof is in the pudding: Chanel Jade sold out before it even reached the shelves, its follow-up, Particulière, was a huge hit at Awards Season, and now, before the sought-after Nouvelle Vague, a pearlescent turquoise, even reaches shelves on June 6, it looks like Chanel is at it again, painting models' nails with a powdery blue hue at the Chanel Cruise Collection Presentation in St Tropez yesterday. We have a sneaking suspicion that it might be part of a forthcoming Peter Philips collection. Or at least, we hope it is. But if you can't wait for the real deal, try OPI's What’s with the Cattitude ($19.95; out in June), Bloom's Kate ($19.95), CND's Rejoice ($16.95) or ORLY's Pixie Dust ($18.95) for size.
