Between the GLAAD Media Awards, the Time 100, Vogue dinners, baby bump sightings and more, it's been a full-on week! Charlize Theron and Leonardo DiCaprio made an unfairly good-looking pair at the GLAAD ceremony, which recognises media excellence in the representation of the gay, lesbian, transgender and bisexual community; meanwhile, Kate Middleton made us smile with her suddenly very noticeable royal baby bump. But it was America's sweetheart Reese Witherspoon who stole most of the attention this week, with news of her arrest (yes, Reese Witherspoon's arrest) making global news. There was plenty more action — click through to see it all in pictures!
In honour of this week's focus on all things denim, we're looking to some of our most all-timing inspiring denim icons. Along with the LBD, a pair of well-fitting jeans is a wardrobe essential. Transeasonal, super-versatile, durable and eternally chic (when you pick the right cut), there's a reason why denim's become part of our modern uniform. Take a gander at these iconic denim looks for some classic inspiration. Think Claudia Schiffer in her bootcuts, Cher giving hers a bohemian spin, Alexa in her double denim, Farrah in her flares and Brooke Shields and her world-famous Calvins.
Last night's GLAAD Media Awards in LA drew a out an A-list crowd — and the A-list looks to go with it. Hollywood heavyweights like Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, and Drew Barrymore — who played host for the event — gave us evening glamour of the chicest kind. Charlize stepped arrived in a halter-style black Jason Wu jumpsuit, while Drew posed in a long-sleeve floral-print skirt set, and Jennifer showed off a flared David Koma LBD (and a new bob!). For the rest of the red-carpet details, like Kirsten Dunst in a lacy LBD, you'll have to keep clicking.
Charlize Theron donned a black jumpsuit to link up with Leonardo DiCaprio at last night's GLADD Awards in LA. They were accompanied by host of the festivities, Drew Barrymore, who brought her husband, Will Kopelman, along. Kirsten Dunst, Elle Fanning and more enjoyed the night out, which supports LGBT equality. Also on hand was Jennifer Lawrence, who debuted a new short hair 'do. Jennifer buddied up with her Silver Linings Playbook producer up with Harvey Weinstein on stage at one point too. Charlize also had fun backstage with special honouree of the evening, Bill Clinton, who was presented with the advocate of change award by surprise guest, Chelsea Clinton. Kelly Rowland and Darren Criss completed the star-studded festivities with live performances on stage.
Twitter went into overdrive this week after a string of tragic events in America, and some of our favourite celebrities certainly made sure to contribute to the chatter. Stars like Taylor Swift, Charlize Theron and more took to social media to share their sad — but lovely — thoughts and prayers, while Alyssa Milano appreciated the "company" of her followers. In lighter Twitter news, Rebel Wilson got everyone geared up for her turn as the MTV Movie Awards host, Erin McNaught shared some exciting details about her wedding dress and Firass Dirani called people out on their transparent behaviour. What else did we learn? Don't mess with model Chrissy Teigen. . .
We had plenty keeping us busy here in Australia, what with the Logies (well done, Asher!) and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia happening within 24 hours of each other, but there was lots going on overseas this week as well! Halle Berry displayed her teensy baby bump when she attended a film premiere in Buenos Aires, while Aussie beauty Miranda Kerr held the hand of her bub Flynn on a walk in Beverly Hills. Nicole Richie and Jessica Alba flaunted their fabulous figures while on a girls' trip to St. Barts, and Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane set tongues wagging when they left a restaurant together. That's not even the half of it! Click through to see what else your favourite stars got up to this week.
Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane grabbed dinner in West Hollywood last night. The two left a sushi restaurant together while dressed casually in jeans. Their outing has kicked up previous rumours of romance. However, the dinner may have only been work-related, as Charlize is set to star in Seth's new movie, A Million Ways to Die in the West, which begins filming soon.
Charlize is back in LA after taking a trip out to Boston to oversee the filming on the new Hatfields & McCoys pilot. She is serving as an executive producer on the upcoming series. Charlize was spotted on set several times throughout March, but now she is back to work on her other projects. Aside from her new film with Seth, Charlize is also set to star in the new comedy Ladies Night and the movie adaptation of Dark Places.
Looking for a do-good reason to shop (aside from this one)? Charlize Theron and Toms have just released their third shoe collaboration to benefit CTAOP — which stands for Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project — in its efforts to keep African youth safe from HIV/AIDS through education and support of local community organisations. Theron's new limited-edition shoes (approx. $56.45) feature a pretty sunset-orange hue and embroidered CTAOP logo. Even more, the inside shoe liner highlights the organisation's inspirational motto: "Look Within. Think Beyond. Reach Out." We're totally down for Theron's fashion for a cause. Are you?
We were treated to some different beauty looks from our favourite red carpet regulars this week, and we couldn't have loved it all more! Gorgeous Michelle Williams is growing out her pixie crop, but there's no awkward stage to be seen — she was still rocking a mid-length fringe and cool hair like it was nobody's business. Lara Bingle showed signs of a long and happy summer with her sunkissed cheeks and light blonde locks, while Solange Knowles was hands-down the biggest standout on the red carpet with her impossibly cool afro and a gorgeous red lip. On the red carpet? Jennifer Lawrence was subtly sexy, and Charlize Theron wowed the crowd (and became one of our all-time favourites) with her super-short do and flawless face.
