Create The Braided Hairstyle From The 2011 A/W Collette Dinnigan Show
2011 A/W Paris Fashion Week: Collette Dinnigan's Feminine 'Do

There’s nothing better than a seeing a simple yet feminine hairstyle on the runway, particularly when it’s one you can easily recreate at home à la Collette Dinnigan. Redken Hair Director Tomohiro Ohashi said he was inspired by the modern equestrian girl — “An elegant, modern woman whose hair was to be back off her face.” Tomohiro illustrated this by using braiding and leather pieces to bring his vision to life. To get the look, first apply Redken Rootful 06 all over the hair and blow-dry it smoothly, paying close attention to smoothing the front. Then use Redken Wool Shake 08 to add texture and create the wind-blown style at the front. Begin braiding from the top of your head down to the ends and wrap the ends with a strip of leather.
