Dakota Fanning at the 2012 Met Costume Institute Gala

The Fanning sisters are famous for their stylish yet age-appropriate choices when it comes to hair and makeup and we always applaud their less-is-more approach. But while we love everything about Dakota's makeup for this year's Met Costume Institute Gala — from the silver shadow to the delicate winged liner to the rosy blush — the floral hair slides seem a little too young for the 18-year-old. All in all, it's still a pretty red carpet look though. What do you think?
