While the Cannes festivities upped the glamour quotient on this week's celebrity set, there's plenty more in the way of red carpet styling fodder from a crew we didn't see in the French Riviera. Olivia Wilde kicked off the week with the most elegant kind of Summer dressing in Morocco, while Zoe Saldana continued her very chic Star Trek tour stateside, and Coco Rocha showed off some high-wattage eventwear at the American Ballet Spring Gala. For a glimpse of those and more of this week's standouts, just start clicking.
Summer is right around the bend, which (among many things) means it's time to pack away your thick, chunky sweaters in lieu of light, airier pieces. But before you flip your closet, feast your eyes on the stars who have already started showing off their warm-weather style. There was Olivia Wilde, who was effortless in breezy orange pants, and Zoe Saldana, who looked sweet in a dusty rose Dolce & Gabbana top. On a more casual note, Julianne Hough made a serious case for the little denim dress. For even more inspiration, head inside to see all the celebrities showing off their spotlight-worthy style.
The sunnier seasons herald in a much more relaxed approach to dressing. For most, that means shedding the layers, and keeping it basic. For others — we count repeat performer Diane Kruger among them — it means breaking out the crop top. Last year, we saw the resurgence of bare midriffs in a noticeable way, and now it's becoming the go-to trend for Hollywood's A-list.
And thanks to Dolce & Gabbana, Prabal Gurung, Calvin Klein, and Marc Jacobs, the latest set of crop top-wearing stars aren't limiting the silhouette to the usual sculpted bralette style. Instead, Kruger chose a sportier version, Doutzen Kroes went with stripes and long sleeves, and Julia Restoin Roitfeld's breezy white iteration reminded us of a sexy slip dress. Since it's only mid-May and Summer hasn't even officially started, we're wondering: Will you be taking the crop-top look for a spin this season?

Vogue and MAC cosmetics hosted a dinner in Prabal Gurung's honor last night at LA's Chateau Marmont, and stylers like Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana, and Jaime King naturally delivered their best for the affair. Diane showed some serious midriff, while mom-to-be Jaime slipped into a military-inspired look from Gurung's Fall 2013 line. Get the full scoop in today's Fashion Flash. When Vogue and MAC Cosmetics host a dinner for Prabal Gurung, it's safe to assume the guest list is a pretty stylish set. That was the case at Chateau Marmont last night, where the fashion crowd gathered to toast the designer clad in — what else? — a lineup of gorgeous Prabal Gurung looks. Diane Kruger made her way inside with beau Joshua Jackson, all while showing a little midriff in a solid crop top and a bold pair of printed pants. Ginnifer Goodwin hung with the designer du jour in a perfect metallic party dress, and Zoe Saldana showed her love for Prabal in a look from the Fall '13 collection. Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana, and more starlets hit the Chateau Marmont in LA last night for a special dinner party held in honor of designer Prabal Gurung. Along with Vogue magazine and MAC Cosmetics, Prabal invited a group of famous friends to celebrate his designs. Diane Kruger bared her stomach alongside boyfriend Joshua Jackson, while Ginnifer Goodwin had her boyfriend, Josh Dallas, and their Once Upon a Time costar Jennifer Morrison for company. Prabal circulated around the event with the "wonderful as ever" Hailee Steinfeld and Star Trek Into Darkness costars Alice Eve and Zachary Quinto. Allure cover girl Zoe Saldana made a stylist appearance alongside Amber Valletta and Jaime King. Rachel Zoe, meanwhile, brought husband Rodger Berman and later tweeted that they had "such a special evening!"

Thanks to Diane Kruger's latest travel ensemble, today's outfit is right here. Her winning mix of prints started with a navy-and-white Diane von Furstenberg "Paulette" studded blazer, then quickly moved into full-on striped boyfriend jeans territory. A black tank and Ray-Ban aviators kept things casual and cool, but it was her white add-ons — a fedora, Rochas bag, and clear cap-toe Christian Louboutin flats — that packed a punch. No matter where today takes you, look to Diane for an extra dose of what-to-wear inspiration. And to take this look from day to night, lose the fedora and sunglasses and add high heels, a colored lip, and gorgeous waves. Shop our editors' picks below to get the party started.
