US Glamour's second-ever "These Girls" event, which benefits the Urban Arts Partnership, brought out plenty of funny ladies to take the stage at Joe's Pub in NYC last night. Amy Poehler was accompanied by Emma Roberts, Alexa Chung, Dianna Agron, Girls star Zosia Mamet, and more to perform both inspiring and hilarious personal essays ranging from sex and awkwardness to the hardships of growing up. Emma, who departed the event in the company of her boyfriend, Evan Peters, hit the stage to address her attempt to ditch Hollywood in pursuit of normal college life, revealing, "I was so busy pretending to experience everything [on screen], I forgot to experience real life." Amy was back for a second time after participating at the inaugural "These Ladies" show in October, when she was accompanied by Olivia Wilde, America Ferrera, Rashida Jones and Aubrey Plaza.
Zoe, Nina, Reese and More Step Out in Hollywood to Support Their Stylists
Zoe Saldana, Reese Witherspoon, Naomi Watts and Nina Dobrev were all on hand to support their respective stylists for The Hollywood Reporter's 25 Most Powerful Stylists event today. Kaley Cuoco, Abbie Cornish and Dianna Agron were also in attendance to celebrate. The annual luncheon, which was held at LA's SoHo House, was hosted by Jimmy Choo and honours the most successful celebrity stylists of the year. This year's list includes heavy-hitters like Brad Goreski, L'Wren Scott and Rachel Zoe, who was recognised for dressing Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Garner this awards season.
The actresses all arrived in style, and most paired their pretty daytime looks with Jimmy Choo accessories. Reese posed with her stylist Leslie Fremar, who also dresses stars like Charlize Theron and Julianne Moore, while Kaley Cuoco stuck close to her fashion guru, Tara Swennen, who counts Kristen Stewart as one of her clients. Nina, who wore a red Max Mara jumpsuit, chatted with Zoe Saldana during the event, and shared photos of herself at the event on her Twitter page, including one with stylist Ilaria Urbinati.

Sarah Jessica Parker and More Stars Celebrate Vogue's HBO Film
Sarah Jessica Parker, Dianna Agron and Christina Ricci hit the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC last night to celebrate the premiere of HBO's In Vogue: The Editor's Eye. Dianna donned a printed dress from Bottega Veneta, while Sarah Jessica paired a vintage dress with a blue velvet overcoat.
The celebs were joined by a host of big fashion personalities, including Vogue's Anna Wintour and other senior fashion editors, as well as designers Tory Burch, Vera Wang, Marchesa's Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, and Derek Lam. Models Joan Smalls, Karen Elson, Arizona Muse and Karlie Kloss turned out as well. (Have a look at the trailer for In Vogue: The Editor's Eye.) Karlie, for one, was excited to see the finished product. She tweeted just before arriving at the Met, "Ready to see the amazing editors talk about bringing the stories come to life!"
In Vogue: The Fashion Crowd Celebrates The Editor's Eye
A party is a party, but a Vogue party is one where the guest list reads like a who's who of fashion's most famed insiders. Last night proved to be just that when the style crowd gathered to watch HBO's documentary, In Vogue: The Editor's Eye. The fashion doco will air in the States on Dec. 6, but we'll have to make do with snooping the party pics. The style world elite like Jenna Lyons, favourite faces like Joan Smalls, and celebrity trendsetters like Sarah Jessica Parker, joined the editrix in chief to fete the film at the Met. Obviously, our attention is on what everyone was wearing — like Joan Smalls showing off her pins in those metallic shorts, or Jenna Lyons exhibiting her signature — and spot-on — mix of tomboy-glam. Click on to see who else joined Anna Wintour last night; then tell us your pick for best dressed in the comments.
The Easy Way to Quickly Dress Up Your Hair
No matter what your go-to hairstyle is for the party season, the easiest (and fastest) way to add some flair is with a festive headband. Dianna Agron dressed up her tousled up 'do with a Dolce & Gabbana headpiece straight from the Autumn/Winter 2012 runway. However you style your strands, though, make sure your headband stays put with bobby pins, or try adding texture to finer hair with a texturising spray or wax for added grip. Another tip is to put the hair accessory on pre-style to make it feel like it's part of your coiffure.
"If you don't want the headband to look like its simply plopped on top of the head, place it on the head before you pull the hair back to form your French twist," said celebrity stylist Devin Toth of the Ted Gibson Salon in New York City. "This will hide the bottom tips of the headband, making the accessory look more natural and elegant." So whether you're a let-your-hair-down type or you like to style your hair in a ponytail, up 'do, or braid, adding a statement hairpiece will get you party-ready fast and loads of compliments, too.
