Do You Follow Beauty Trends?

I was in Woolworths last night (glam, aren't I) when I was thinking about trends. In recent weeks, as Fab will attest, I've sworn blind that I'll never wear leather shorts, bring back the long skirt or deem kitten heels appropriate footwear. I'm now proud owner of said leather shorts, seriously coveting Michael Lo Sordo's sheer pleated number, in fact my only redeeming quality is that I've remained firm in my stance against kitten heels. I'm the same with beauty. I said I'd never wear orange eyeshadow, yet I have and I am. My association with Chanel's Particulière went from "mud" to "marvellous" in a matter of days and now I'm even coveting big, bushy brows. Odd isn't it? Or extremely fickle at least. Are you the same, do you say you're never going to try a trend, only to change your mind later or are you in it for the long-haul?
