Cate Blanchett made waves in London, where she wowed the crowds in a long white dress, and Naomi Watts hung with her The Impossible co-stars at a private screening. As for the non-Aussies? They were busy too — one international superstar hit our shores for a string of concerts, one cute couple did some Christmas shopping together, and a group of five girls put their girl power together once again. Bursting onto the scene in 1996 with their hit single "Wannabe", the girls became as well known for their crazy hair and beauty looks as they were for their music. It was a Spice Girls reunion last night at their Viva Forever!musical press event held at London's Piccadilly Theatre. Victoria Beckham was joined on the carpet by David, Romeo, Brookyn and Cruz (all in Burberry Tailoring), while Harper skipped out on the celebration. Victoria was reportedly running a bit late and missed out on the opportunity to pose with her fellow Spice Girls, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm. It's been a few months since we've seen the girl group back together after the fab five famously closed out the London Olympics with a medley of their biggest hits.

If the supermodel pack won gold for their catwalking prowess at the London Olympics closing ceremony this morning, we'd have to award a silver to the Spice Girls and their chic on-stage ensembles. The girl group who defined the '90s reunited for an energetic performance, with Scary, Sporty, Ginger, Baby and Posh zooming around the Olympic stadium atop their own black London taxi cabs. Of course, it was what the Spicies wore that got our attention first and foremost — Victoria Beckham surprisingly didn't wear one of her own designs, instead opting for a business-at-the-front, party-at-the-back black gown by Giles Deacon. Mel C looked chic and sporty in a crisp jumpsuit, Emma Bunton looked suitably sweet in a hot pink frock with sequinned sleeves, Mel B was sparkilicous thanks to Zuhair Murad and Geri Halliwell paid tribute to her famous Union Jack dress via a bustle on her LRD. It was glam, it was fast, it was fun! Can we get a zig-a-zig-ahh?

It was the moment the world had been waiting for: the reunion of the Spice Girls at the London Olympics closing ceremony! Their appearance had been rumoured for weeks and photos of the girls rehearsing over the weekend confirmed they’d be among the line-up of celebrated British music acts. Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Melanie Chrisholm (Sporty Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) arrived in taxis bearing the number plate ‘SPICE’ and first sang their memorable hit “Wannabe.” Then they launched into “Spice Up Your Life” as they rode atop the taxis around the stadium.

The Spice Girls are reportedly reuniting to perform at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics! While the news hasn't been officially announced, they will apparently sing two songs. It may be the last time fans see them perform together. The Spice Girls also came together in London late last month to announce the new West End musical Viva Forever!, which will feature many of their hit songs. Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Mel C and Emma Bunton first got together in 1994, and they had years of worldwide fun in their time as a pop group.
