At the Intimissimi Fall/Winter 2012 runway show in Italy on Wednesday night, Olivia Palermo styled her chestnut hair in big, brushed-out waves. Her vintage look was further enhanced by metallic brown eye shadow and liner, a touch of blush on her cheekbones, and a medium-pink lip colour.

Olivia's shiny waves are easy to achieve and are perfect for a casual lunch date with friends or a romantic night out. Begin by parting your hair down the middle. Take a large-barrelled curling iron and, working in large sections, curl your hair away from your face.
