Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen Wearing Red Eyeshadow and Dark Lipstick

OK so I think it's safe to say that Taylor Momsen is a little more, ahem, heavy-handed with her makeup application than most, but to be fair, it's her rock chick vibe that attracted the attention of Mr. John Galliano so maybe we all want to consider upping the shadow wear. Just sayin'. Normally one to stick with a slate smoky eye, Taylz chose to replace the classic colour with red at a party in West Hollywood this week. It's not the first time she's experimented with the hue — back in August she told Interview magazine that she's been using a lot of red lately — it's just never really trickled over into public eye before now. It's course on-trend in the US—the Givenchy Fall '10 look centred on red-rimmed eyes and rich red lips. Tay-Tay is also way ahead of the times with her burgundy lip colour, which was a key trend from this season's Givenchy show. Either way it's co-ordinating with her new hair streaks. Noice. Thoughts?
