Another week. Another celeb trend or two. Last night both Kylie Minogue and Cat Deeley were both sporting the signature KStew front volume with their up 'dos. Kylie was hosting the amFAR New York Inspiration Gala, while Cat was praising Brain Atwood at an InStyle event for the shoe designer. I probably prefer the teased texture of Cat's as Kyles' attempt looks a bit square. Moving on to Trend # 2, we have corkscrew curls. First seen earlier this week on Katherine Heigl at the Killers premiere, I wasn't really a fan. I much prefer Katherine as a blonde. Maggie Gyllenhaal's attempt at the trend for the Fresh Air Fund Salute to American Heroes is a bit better, especially as it's been paired with a gorgeous raspberry lip, but I don't know, the curls are still a little tight for my liking. Which trend do you like best m'friend?
Corkscrew curls like that would look better if the hair was a bit longer, I think. I wish I could pull off kstew's front volume but my crown is rather shocking and I have to hide it with a side part.
