Sure, this week marked the scariest day of the calendar year, but our Halloween-inspired makeup story is quite the opposite. Wearing colours like green, orange and even vampy lips — à la Stacy Keibler — doesn't have to mean scary. Orange has been having a beauty moment for quite some time now, and we love to pair matte orange lips with dewy skin, bare eyes and some bronzer. See? Not so bad after all. The Week in Pictures: Drew & Jen, Nicole, Kim & Kanye & More
There were a few major events dominating the headlines this week: Superstorm Sandy, Halloween and the Melbourne Cup Carnival. While one of them (Sandy) kept a few events from going ahead — like Heidi Klum's annual Halloween bash — the other two certainly kept us on our toes when it came to keeping up to date with all the latest celeb happenings. Halloween brought out famous faces like Kayne & Kim, Kate Moss, Lara Bingle and more, while the Races saw people like Nicole Kidman, Jesinta Campbell and Kate Waterhouse hitting the town (and various best dressed lists). Think that's all? Oh, no — there were surprise visits to Sydney from a famous mum and daughter and a major British girl group, Kristen Stewart hung out (and looked a bit awkward) with an Aussie in Hollywood and Jennifer Aniston got all misty-eyed when Drew showed off pictures of her new bub. It's all in here, and more, so just click through the gallery to catch up on the week that was!

Sugar Diary: Our Week in Pics
Well, as usual, it was a big ole week for us here in the Sugar office! We all came together to celebrate the birthday of one of our especially stylish team members, who was lucky enough to score a slew of pressies — including a designer necklace sent by the designer herself! We got into the swing of Halloween things, donning a few less-than-scary masks and scoping out the endless pics that famous people posted on social media — including Ellen DeGeneres' hilarious get-up. When we weren't clowning around, we were working (promise!) to bring you the latest in fashion, beauty and celebrity, including an interview with the newest British It group, Little Mix (they're so lovely!), checking out designer collections and trying on the latest beauty wares. Wanna see all the pics that prove it? Click through the gallery!
Halloween Makeup, The Pretty Kind
The world has been in a scary spin for the last week, celebrating all things spooky and kooky for Halloween. Now we don't know about you, but when we dress up for Halloween, we still like to look cute. Pretty even. Who says costume makeup has to be OTT and gruesome?! Napoleon Perdis is offering Halloween makeovers ($130 and redeemable for product on the day) and the options are pretty delicious — think an enchantingly beautiful Queen of Hearts or the seducing Lady is a Vamp. We got our hands on the pretty face charts for both, as well as the finished looks. Here's to looking terrifyingly beautiful this weekend...
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Couple Up in Batman Costumes
It was a batty Halloween for Kim Kardashian and her pals in Miami last night. The group, including Kanye West, Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick, and Jonathan Cheban, went as characters from Batman, with Kim and Kanye taking the lead as Catwoman and Batman. They arrived at LIV Nightclub, where they not only celebrated the spooky holiday, but also belatedly marked Kim's 32nd birthday. While Kim, Kanye, Kourtney, and Scott were busy with their costumed festivities in Florida, Khloé got to work in LA. She made her debut as the new host of The X Factor US with Mario Lopez, and after wrapping up the live show, quickly headed to the Staples Center to watch her husband, Lamar Odom, play in the Clippers game. Khloé was on Kim's mind, though, since she tweeted, "Omg!!! I'm literally crying! Khloe looks beautiful on the X Factor!!! Not sure why I'm crying, just so proud of my little sister!"
Video: Ellen as Sofia, Miley as Nicki, and More Celebrity Costume Twins!
Ellen DeGeneres spoofs Sofia Vergara's wardrobe malfunction, and Miley Cyrus nails Nicki Minaj's curves with the help of some strategic padding. Halloween may have been yesterday for us, but this PopSugar Rush is dedicated to our favourite celebrity-inspired costumes — worn by other celebrities! The men of Glee took part in the double celebrity doppleganger action as well with Matthew Morrison's boy band Justin Timberlake and Chord Overstreet's Chanel No. 5 Brad Pitt. Check it out!
Jessica Simpson and Baby Maxwell Dress Up For Halloween
Jessica Simpson's Halloween costume was on display today! She shared a photo with fans via her website and Twitter account, showing her decked out in a milkmaid-esque costume with her waist cinched in a corset. Eric had a Braveheart look going on, while little Maxwell was a chicken. It was just this time last year that Jessica confirmed her pregnancy. She memorably shared a photo of Eric as Larry Byrd and herself as a mummy, saying, "I'm going to be a mummy!" Just a few months later, baby Maxwell entered the world and is now a part of the Simpson-Johnson family dress-up fun.
