How to Use Brow Gel

From New York City to Milan to Paris, bold, structured eyebrows were one of the biggest runway makeup trends for Fall 2012. Now is the time to anchor those richer, deeper makeup palettes with equally impressive brows, but how do you get the look right minus the cartoony effects? It's called eyebrow gel, and Laura Mercier Eye Brow Gel ($44) is outright amazing (although most brow-toned, cream-to-matte eye colours should do the trick).

What makes brow gel so great is its high pigmentation level and stay-put finish, and you'll also get a natural-looking definition that both fills and lengthens. To apply, use either the spooly brush the product comes with, or an angled brow brush to sculpt your eyebrows freehand.
