January Jones Debuts Her New 'Do Alongside Her Mad Women

January Jones put her new fringe on display when she attended the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards in Beverly Hills yesterday.

January Jones put her new fringe on display when she attended the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards in Beverly Hills yesterday. She was accompanied by her Mad Men co-stars Jessica Paré, Elisabeth Moss and Kiernan Shipka to pick up their Lucy award, which celebrated all of the women's work on the hit AMC show. Other honorees included The Bling Ring director Sofia Coppola, Laura Linney, cinematographer Rachel Morrison, and George Lucas.

While women were the focus of the night, Mad Men fans have been devoting the past few weeks to trying to sift through all the mysterious Bob Benson theories. We caught up with Elisabeth at the Critics' Choice Television Awards on Monday, where she admitted that she has read up on the theories on POPSUGAR and she finds Bob "weird and mysterious." However, she wouldn't spill any new details on exactly what Bob is up to.

Beauty Battle: January Jones and Taylor Swift's Aquamarine Eyes

Already we have seen marine-hued eye makeup on the runways and red carpet, and last night both January Jones and Taylor Swift tried on the trend.

Already we have seen marine-hued eye makeup on the runways and red carpet, and last night both January Jones and Taylor Swift tried on the trend. At the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, January lined her eyes with an iridescent emerald eyeliner with a cat-eye flick and a shimmer finish. The emerald hue also matched January's glittering green earrings for a polished look. Taylor wore a similar eye makeup look at the FiFi Awards. The singer mixed bronze shadow with shimmering blue eyeliner. Both women chose a winning combination with the blonde hair, blue eyes, and sea-themed makeup. But who wore the look best?

Trend Alert: Geometric Nail Art

Nail art is a regular occurrence on the red carpet, but we've been seeing stars sporting a variety of geometric nails as of late.

Nail art is a regular occurrence on the red carpet, but we've been seeing stars sporting a variety of geometric nails as of late. Demi Lovato showed off a black manicure accented with three metallic stripes over the weekend, while Kerry Washington paired her black polish with a white chevron tip to complement her dress at the recent Peeples premiere. January Jones also got into the graphic trend, sporting a classic red polish topped with a black triangle accent at the base of her nails for an edgier take on the moon manicure. We even saw geometric nails on the New York Fashion Week 2013 runways, so clearly this trend is here to stay. You can get similar looks, too, with these nail art tutorials:

Who Rocked the Best Met Gala Mini?

The looks from last night's Met Gala were long on embellishments — we saw our fair share of grommets, studs, and safety pins in an homage to this year's "Punk: Chaos to Couture" exhibition.

The looks from last night's Met Gala were long on embellishments — we saw our fair share of grommets, studs, and safety pins in an homage to this year's "Punk: Chaos to Couture" exhibition. But for some stars, it was also short on fabric. We tend to believe it's always a little punk to show up to a black-tie affair in something ultra-short, so we'd like to pay our respects to the five stars who rocked minidresses. Gisele Bündchen left little to the imagination in an asymmetrical Anthony Vaccarello metal-hook minidress. Stacy Keibler showed up in a studded black Rachel Roy mini with sheer panel sleeves, while Elizabeth Banks went with a menswear-inspired gold Atelier Versace dress. Kate Bosworth put her long legs on full display beneath a structured, pink-beaded Balmain number, and January Jones, ever the red carpet risk-taker, paired a bold Genevieve Jones ear cuff with a sequined LBD by Chanel. In the minidress melee, whose look do you like best?

At yesterday's BAFTA New York celebration of Mad Men, the female cast members each showed off a different version of the metallic smoky eye.

At yesterday's BAFTA New York celebration of Mad Men, the female cast members each showed off a different version of the metallic smoky eye. While their characters on the series would rarely be seen in such a dramatic beauty look, the modern-day women all wore the universal trend in a unique way. Christina Hendricks mixed a brown shadow with hints of shimmering pink to bring out her red hair and lipstick. Jessica Paré picked smudged eyeliner and taupe eye makeup for a classic sultry look. Finally, January Jones complemented her bright blue eyes with an indigo hue. Each star showed us how to customise the smoky eye look for different hair colours and features.

The Week in Pictures: Miranda & Flynn, Nicole Richie, The Logies, Charlize Theron & More!

We had plenty keeping us busy here in Australia, what with the Logies (well done, Asher!) and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia happening within 24 hours of each other, but there was lots going on overseas this week as well!

It was hard to take our eyes off the front-row beauty at this week's MBFWA — with a slew of Aussie women stepping out to support local fashion designers, we were treated to all sorts of hair and makeup adventures.
