Jennifer Lawrence Stays Glued to Her iPhone at Cannes Catching Fire Bash
Jennifer Lawrence had a jam-packed 24 hours at the Cannes Film Festival. She kicked things off with a photo call alongside her Catching Fire co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin, and then Jennifer slipped into a gorgeous Dior gown for the evening's marquee premiere. On Sunday, Jennifer joined her boys for the official Catching Fire party. She wore another Dior — this time white with a flower detail — before switching into a grey number. Once inside the bash, Jennifer sat close to Liam, but also stayed glued to her iPhone. Jennifer also showed off her big smile while chatting with fellow partygoers. Liam and Jennifer called it a night on the early side, leaving Catching Fire supporters to mingle with models in their Capitol finest.
Jennifer Lawrence Gets in on the Glam in Cannes With Eva and Doutzen
Jennifer Lawrence dressed up in a Dior gown to hit the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for the Jimmy P.: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian premiere last night. She was joined by her Catching Fire crew: Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, and director Francis Lawrence. Also in attendance to show their support for Jimmy P., which stars Benicio del Toro, were Calvin Klein-clad Doutzen Kroes; Eva Longoria, who wore Atelier Versace; and Jane Fonda. Steven Spielberg, who is serving as one of the jurors at this year's festival, was joined by wife Kate Capshaw for the glamorous event at the Palais des Festivals.
It was quite the day for Jennifer and her men, who were busy promoting their own film in Cannes in the morning. Jennifer, Liam and Sam posed for a Catching Fire photo call after Liam hit the town on Saturday night for the Belvedere bash.
Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth Bring Catching Fire to Rainy Cannes
Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth linked up with their Catching Fire co-star Sam Claflin this morning for a photo call at the extremely rainy Cannes Film Festival! The trio were able to escape the elements by posing inside the Majestic Hotel. Jennifer, Sam, and Liam are in France to hype up the second installment of The Hunger Games series, which is out in Australia on November 21. Also smiling for the cameras were Lionsgate co-chairmen Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger and director Francis Lawrence.
The cast and team behind the film are busy despite the release being six months away. It was just announced that COVERGIRL will launch the Capitol Collection, a range of makeup products inspired by the film. And Liam made sure to enjoy the social side of Cannes too. Last night, he and a group of guy friends checked out the Rev Run and DJ Rukus set at Belvedere's party inside the VIP Room club.
Top 10 Celebrity Beauty Looks This Week: Cara, Jennifer, Zoe & More!
We had a lot of beautiful looks to pore over this week, what with a fancy Vogue dinner and the 2013 Cannes Film Festival taking place, but we had to be selective and whittle our list of favourites down to 10. When it comes to the absolute best, no-holds-barred beauty looks of the week, we have to be wowed — and wowed we were when we caught sight of Cara Delevingne's Cannes look. It was dramatic, sexy and could've easily gone wrong. . . but it was so right. Jennifer Lawrence also opted for a bold lip, and speaking of bold, we were huge fans of Nicole Kidman's futuristic ponytail. On the other end of the spectrum was Zoe Saldana, looking better than ever with her face bare and hair au naturel. Click through to see who else made the cut!
Top Ten Best Dressed This Week: Jennifer Lawrence, Diane Kruger, Olivia Palermo & More!
There were two designers whose names were all over the best-dressed lists this week: Christian Dior and Prabal Gurung. Their incredible designs were seen on the likes of Nicole Kidman, Diane Kruger, Jennifer Lawrence and more this week, and we've gotta say, we're seeing some of their best work ever. Diane Kruger might be the only star who can pull off a belly-button-exposing top at a high-class Vogue dinner (and pull it off she did), and we were thrilled to see Jennifer Lawrence opt for something different after a sea of black during the awards season a few months ago. Olivia Palermo showed prints who's boss, Nicole Kidman earned her mega-star status, and Sienna Miller? Well, let's just say we're glad she's back on the scene. Check Out an Exciting New Poster For Catching Fire
Lionsgate has just revealed the first official poster for Catching Fire (not to be confused with the motion poster or victory tour propaganda). It's pretty cool, too: a vintage-looking Katniss ponders the meaning of life atop a bluff with her trusty bow and arrow in hand, along with a quote from the novel: "The sun persists in rising, so I make myself stand." I still wish we could get a peek at the new arena, but I'll take what I can get for now. How do you feel about the new one-sheet?
But wait — there's more exciting news on the Hunger Games front: Lionsgate has launched an official Instagram account for The Hunger Games, so be sure to check it out for all the latest updates on Catching Fire, which is out on Nov. 21.
Zoom in on the poster when you click through.

All the Famous Faces That Have Worn Dior by Raf Simons (So Far)
Alexa Chung, Olga Kurylenko, and Marion Cotillard are the latest in a long list of fashion darlings and actresses to take Raf Simons from the runway to the red carpet. Ever since Belgian designer Simons, formerly of Jil Sander, took the reins at the legendary label, he's presented five exquisite collections. Naturally, stars like Cotillard (the face of Lady Dior) and Jennifer Lawrence (the face of Miss Dior handbags) have flocked to his jaw-dropping gowns, and we can totally see why. Simons is breathing new life into the design house by taking iconic past-collection references (think New Look from the 1940s) and updating them with a modern twist.
