This Week's Top 10 Celebrity Beauty Looks
There's something about a big, genuine, happy smile that makes anyone look their absolute best. Of course, Diane Kruger's immaculate makeup and hair didn't hurt the cause, but this week we were blown away by how happy she seems — and how fantastic she looks for it! We love what she's done with her hair, pulling it back sleekly enough that it shares the limelight with those incredible earrings. Emilia Clarke was another star to tuck her hair behind her ears, which framed her face (and impressive eye makeup!) beautifully. Megan Gale opted for a fresh topknot, Barbara Palvin worked one of the sexiest cat-eye flicks we've seen, and Alexa Chung got along with a matte pink lip like a house on fire. See all this prettiness right here, right now.

Trend Alert: NYC Taxi Cab-Coloured Nails
Forget bold neon or even pastel. This season's yellow nail polish look is a pure, unadulterated take on the bright, cheery hue. Think: NYC taxi cab, buttercup-flower yellow. Seen recently on stars like Leona Lewis (left), Jenna Elfman (upper right) and Jessica Szohr (lower right), the warm-coloUred polish is a great accent to Summer's breezy wardrobe choices. To add a little flair, take a note from Jessica, who opted to pair her two-tone polish look with an orange hue. There's nothing mellow about yellow. Try: Darling Rubber Duckie ($18.95) or Zoya Creamy ($19).
Joshua Jackson Joins Brooklyn Decker and Ashley Greene For 24 Hours of Fun
Joshua Jackson was just one of the stars that participated in the 24 Hour Plays benefit in Santa Monica on Saturday. The production raised funds for Urban Arts Partnership and also brought out Ashley Greene, Jason Ritter, Jessica Szohr and Brooklyn Decker. Brooklyn shared a peek at her character, which happened to be a man, on Twitter while Ashley wrote, "I feel like I was just at adult summer camp with the most incredible and talented people." Brooklyn will soon return to the UK, where she travelled from to make the fundraiser. Joshua, meanwhile, has been hanging in LA with girlfriend Diane Kruger and the duo have shared multiple date nights during their time on the West Coast.
You Really, Really Need a Hat This Autumn . . . Here's Why
We made it one of our New Year Style Resolutions to make and (keep), and these latest celeb spottings are serving as a timely reminder to hat up this season. The humble topper has become the accessory du jour, which makes sense given its transformative powers over the most banal of ensembles. With the weather taking a turn towards Winter, our advice is to invest in a seasonally-appropriate felt number (straw will look displaced in an icy gale), preferably in a neutral camel, ecru, black or burgundy hue. If you fear a hat is a little too fancy-dress for you, take a styling cue from the following stylish celebrities. Our topper tip? Wear with confidence! This look commands attention (for all the right reasons).
Valentino's LA Store Opening Party Draws the Prettiest Celebrities: See Every Look!
Last night's Valentino store opening drew a gathering of LA's best-dressed celebs to Rodeo Drive. The flagship fete was the opportune time for Hollywood's style crowd to don their prettiest Valentino frocks — there was hardly a pair of pants in sight, unless you count the odd jumpsuit! We spotted the label's lace and leather confections, signature flashes of femininity in the form of ruffles and floral adornments, and a room of covet-worthy accessories to complete every look. Minka Kelly stepped out in a gold-tinged ladylike dress and Teresa Palmer showed off the loveliest version of the leather dress. Even the night's most casual looks were injected with Valentino's brand of pretty, like a dose of lace on Revenge starlet Ashley Madekwe's jacket. Inside, there's more of the night's standout styles; click on to see them all!
Rachel Zoe, Molly Sims, Kim Kardashian and More Celebrate Valentino
Rachel Zoe hit the black carpet in LA Tuesday night to celebrate Valentino's 50th anniversary at its shop on Rodeo Drive. She stopped for a moment to say hello to pal Molly Sims, who covered her growing stomach in a long black gown. Molly, who married producer Scott Stuber in September, is six months pregnant with her first child. She and Scott expect their first bundle of joy to arrive in June. Molly and Rachel shared space on the carpet with a Lela Rose-clad Kim Kardashian, as well as other starlets like Jessica Stroup, Jessica Szohr and Ciara. Rachel is a well-known Twilight fan, but she took a second to say hello to an actress from another major movie franchise. The Hunger Games' Isabelle Fuhrman caught up with Rachel Zoe at the dinner, and the young actress later tweeted that she was "so happy to have met such amazing people" at Valentino's event.
Jessica Alba, Michelle Williams and More Kick Off Awards Season in Style
InStyle and Forevermark hosted a pre-Golden Globes bash at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night. Jessica Alba turned out for the event in a sexy black Valentino number, Nina Dobrev rocked a floral frock, and Michelle Williams went bright in a white Versace dress. It was just another glamorous appearance for Michelle, who has been busy accepting praise for My Week With Marilyn. She picked up a statue at the Palm Springs International Film Festival over the weekend and enjoyed a lunch in the movie's honour yesterday. Jessica, meanwhile, missed husband Cash Warren's birthday to attend, though she shared a sweet message on Twitter in honour of his 33rd.
Awards season kicks off today with the People's Choice Awards, and we'll be covering the event live on the site.
