Kate Winslet has always been vocal about her anti-plastic surgery stance but the Oscar-winning actress has taken her views one step further, forming the "British Anti-Cosmetic Surgery League" with her Brit pals, fellow actresses Rachel Weisz and Emma Thompson, to fight against Hollywood pressure to go under the knife. The 35-year-old says:
"I will never give in. It goes against my morals, the way that my parents brought me up and what I consider to be natural beauty. I am an actress, I don’t want to freeze the expression of my face."
Kate's good friend Emma agrees that "we’re in this awful youth-driven" place, while L'Oréal Paris spokesperson Rachel has said that those who look "too perfect don’t look sexy or particularly beautiful." What do you think about the actresses' pact? Do you find it refreshing to hear high profile stars speak out like this?
