Nicole Kidman wore gold Vera Wang to accompany her husband Keith Urban to the Grammys in LA today. Both Keith and Nicole have been fixtures at awards season so far — she was up for two Golden Globes thanks to her small screen work in Hemingway & Gellhorn and her big screen work in The Paperboy. Today, though, is all about Keith, one of the show's presenters. He's not nominated this year, but he's won plenty of Grammys before. He has a total of four, and most recently won best male country vocal performance for "'Til Summer Comes Around" in 2011. The fun has already started for Nicole and Keith — they caught up with pals Faith Hill and Tim McGraw on their way inside the Staples Center.

Celebrities had their work cut out for them this week, that's for sure! Between hitting the SAG Awards on Monday (not to the mention all the pre-SAG parties!) and the AACTA Awards on Wednesday, they were up to their ears in red carpet events and glam nights out. There were multiple premieres happening around the same time across the globe, including ones for Australian Teresa Palmer's new film, Warm Bodies, and Diane Kruger's new German film. But it wasn't all glitz and glam! Some of the most beautiful pics we saw this week were of happy families reuniting — Keith Urban sure looked glad to have his girls back as they arrived home in Sydney. . . Nicole Kidman and her kids caught a flight out of LA yesterday after a hectic awards season weekend. Nicole held hands with her daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret as they made their way through LAX to hop on a plane for Sydney ahead of tonight's AACTA Awards. Nicole's husband Keith Urban was on hand to greet his girls when they landed at Sydney Airport — his daughters gave him big hugs as he kissed Nicole. Russell Crowe, host of the AACTAs, was also there with them.

Nicole had a full schedule in Hollywood over the weekend, attending the Producers Guild Awards on Saturday and the SAG Awards on Sunday. At the latter event, Nicole was nominated in two categories. She was up for outstanding female actor in a TV movie or miniseries for Hemingway & Gellhorn, but lost to Julianne Moore. Nicole also was in the running for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role for her work in The Paperboy, and was bested by winner Anne Hathaway, who has been sweeping that category at award shows over the past few weeks. Award or no award, Nicole still has plenty of filming to keep her busy over the next year. She's currently working on the new Grace Kelly biopic, Grace of Monaco, and is set to star in Before I Go to Sleep, the upcoming film adaptation of S.J. Watson's popular thriller.

The fun continued yesterday as stars celebrated the 70th Annual Golden Globes with HBO's official after party at Circa 55 restaurant in the Beverly Hilton. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban showed love during the bash, while Golden Globe winner Lena Dunham hung out with Judd Apatow inside. Presenter Robert Pattinson and best actress winner Julianne Moore worked the room and Mad Men's Jon Hamm shared a moment with Zosia Mamet from Girls.

The hotel also played host to several other after parties, including celebrations thrown by NBC, InStyle and The Weinstein Company. Celebrities like Joe Manganiello and Ewan McGregor were among the party-hoppers that visited more than one event throughout the evening.

Her awards season appearances serve as somewhat of a break for Nicole, who has been busy filming Grace of Monaco in Paris. Lea Michele and Zooey Deschanel were joined by their fellow FOX TV friends as they celebrated the network's shows at an all-star party during the 2013 Winter TCAs in Pasadena yesterday. Lea's Glee co-stars Kevin McHale and Jane Lynch dropped by the bash, but Lea's on- and offscreen boyfriend Cory Monteith wasn't photographed at the event. Meanwhile, Zooey's sister, Emily Deschanel, who stars on FOX's Bones, colour-coordinated with her sister in a black cocktail dress. Mindy Kaling, Shannon Woodward and Nicki Minaj also swung by to celebrate.

The event followed a busy day of promotion for the stars, who sat on a FOX comedy panel yesterday. During the interviews, Mindy got big laughs when she joked around with Zooey about having "special privileges" on The Mindy Project.

Google has released Australia’s top searches of 2012 and among the categories is a list for the top 10 most Googled Australian celebrities. The results were interesting but not super-surprising — two stars were given a huge boost thanks to their presence on The Voice, the acting brothers taking Hollywood by storm ranked highly, and models were still the hot topic on Aussie fingertips. But who was number one?

Nicole Kidman had the company of her husband, Keith Urban, on Wednesday night on the red carpet in NYC. She was honoured with a gala tribute during the New York Film Festival, and earlier in the day, attended a screening of her new movie, The Paperboy, with director Lee Daniels. The picture is a rather controversial one, and Nicole spoke about making tough decisions about her character in order to be comfortable personally. Apparently, Lee's script had Nicole saying the n-word. She declined, and in explaining her choice referred to her son with ex Tom Cruise, Connor. She said, "I have a son who is African American. I just didn't feel like it was right. What I try to do as an actor is fulfill a director's vision. I have opinions, but at the same time I'm not there to stop him from anything. I've really tried to do that in every film. I never want to pull them off their vision." Wearing a red dress from her friend L'Wren Scott, Nicole spent the evening with her husband, Keith. He was on a break from his duties hosting American Idol. He shares a seat at the judges' table with Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, who apparently aren't getting along too well. Keith joked that he's a mediator on Idol between the two ladies. He's currently touring the country with Mariah, Nicki, and Randy Jackson, and was able to spend time in the Big Apple supporting his wife between auditions.
