Much has been made of Kristen Stewart not having a pedicure for the BAFTAs and ELLE Style Awards. Shock horror. And while the sensible side of my brain wants to shout WHO GIVES A FLYING beep, I'm aware that us mere mortals feel that celebs, being in the amazing position that they are (stylists on hand, nail technicians willing to come to their room, makeup artists falling over themselves to apply foundation to their skin), have a certain standard to uphold. We (well, me, at least) think it's totally fine to forgo the makeup while nipping out for coffee or doing the school run, but a red carpet event should be treated as such. I like looking at who is wearing what and yes, admittedly I get a little sad when I see Kristen Stewart sporting bare nails two nights in a row, don't you? Do you think celebs should get a pedi before events?
are you kidding me? what's with all the 'not if they don't want to' votes???? If you don't want to get a pedi, then wear closed toe shoes! As far as I am concerned, this doesn't just go or celebrities. but all women getting glammed up to go out (school run and grocery shipping definitely excluded). Toes just aren't gorgeous, elegant or sexy without a couple of coats of polish!
1Feel quite strongly about this eh, madnicole?! I do agree though, plenty of celebs went with stockings/closed shoes or even a neutral pedi if they didn't want to attract too much attention to their tootsies. But it seems a lot of peeps are feeling that it's their choice, not ours. The debate continues . . .

You will clearly see the clean and neutral pedicure. And, for god sake, stop looking for each possible little mistake Kristen would make. She is simply breathtaking! And she'll always be! Live with it!
Personally I think that any person who wears open toed shoes should take care of their toenails, even if they just file them down once a week so they're clean and neat. There is NOTHING worse then looking down when your out and about and seeing someones long, split, yellow nasty talons. I don't see what's wrong with Kristen's toes, so what if they're not polished? She takes care of her feet and as such we're not subjected to talon induced horror.
4I am mixed on this. At least her feet aren't totally gnarly? Although I feel it's a bit unfair, if she's not willing to take up all the grooming and pampering on offer when you're an A-lister, she should throw those beauty treatments MY way. I'd appreciate.
5Everyone knows the perfect accompaniment to a great pair of shoes is a killer pedi! I think Kristen is dying out for some tootsy TLC right now. Sorry, but this is footwear fail in my eyes. xx
6I think my new Chanel Particuliere nail polish would have been the perfect choice for Kristen! Maybe she should take some beauty advice from SJP (she LOVES getting her feet rubbed)...or maybe she just needs a sparkly shade to remind her of R-Patz! xx
7I freaking love that she didn't hey...its like yeah I'm in the movies..yeah you follow me round...yeah you got these expectations of me...guess what...pffffffft. She's gorgeous who fucking cares if her toe nails don't look schmick.

9as long as her toes don't look gross, it should be fine, I don't see why someone would want to have a close up look of her feet anyway, it's kinda weird...

Kristen Stewart's feet are georgeous with or without polish.She is beautiful and very fortunate.unlike paris hilton whos feet look like my 90 year old gma (yuck).you'r ragging on kristen when there are hundreds of celebrity women's feet who are beyond repair.Kristen Stewart gets a 6 in my book.
