We just had the pleasure of chatting to Mara Roszak, the woman behind some of the hottest hairstyles in Hollywood. She created Emma Stone's fun and flirty ponytail for the recent Friends with Benefits premiere, as well as working with Mila Kunis all throughout awards season for the Oscars, Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards. We asked her to share her top tips as well as what's going to be big for Summer, but before we reveal the upcoming trends, Mara talked us through creating the perfect beachy waves — a style she recommends we all learn to master as "it's easy and looks great on all ages."

STEP 1: This style is all about working with your natural texture. Whether it's wavy or straight, you should start by applying a lightweight mousse such as TRESemmé Naturals Lightweight Mousse ($7.99) to damp hair and rough dry it.

Keep reading . . .STEP 2: If the hair is a little frizzy, blow-dry the sections of the hair that frame the face with a round brush.

STEP 3: Next get a wide curling tong and randomly select sections to add a wave throughout. Tip: to add to the effortless feel, leave the ends out and alternate between wrapping the hair inwards around the curling tong and outwards. This creates a more and natural-looking texture.

STEP 4: Next break up the curls with your fingers and finish with hairspray such as TRESemmé Tres Two Extra Hold Hairspray ($7.99). Tip: if you want to add extra body, tip your hair upside down and mist a light spray of hairspray.
