These women never fail to amaze on the runway and in campaigns, but it's their stellar sense of style when off-duty that really had us talking this year.
Our Instagram feeds were on opposite ends of the spectrum this week, with half of our favourite stars bracing themselves for the cold of the Norther Hemisphere Winter, and the other half soaking up the sun in Australia. Jesinta Campbell was one s star taking in the heat, sharing snaps of her incredible figure (not to mention some seriously cool Mikoh swimwear), and revealing some behind-the-scenes action on a beach shoot. On the other side of the globe, Lara stayed cosy in bed with her boyfriend Sam Worthington — the pair were in New Orleans — while Jessica Gomes rugged up in Paris and a bunch of Victoria's Secret models partied together in New York City. And Miranda Kerr? As usual, there were so many pictures of this local beauty — but we were particularly enamoured with the one in this gallery. Keen to see them all? Click through now!
We may be well into the swing of Summer, but there's one Winter trend that just won't quit — the sexy, dark, dangerous lip look. Dramatic description? It may well be, but a makeup craze this good deserves a bit of extra attention. There's something so mysterious and luxe about slicking dark red, purple or berry-hued colours across your lips — it's the easiest way to make like a modern femme fatale and knock the socks off anyone who stands in your way. As these celebrities beautifully exhibit, there are so many ways to interpret the trend. No matter your complexion and hair colour, there's a version in here that you can take and make your own this season. Because while we love a bright, light lip for long lunches in Summer, there's nothing quite like a vampy vibe to carry you through the balmy nights.
The arrival of a royal baby, the unexpected deaths of actors taken too soon, an Oscar-winning actress tripping on the way to the stage, and a former Disney starlet gone wild — these are just some of the celebrity headlines that had us talking in 2013. It was certainly an eventful year but there are some stories that stuck with us more than others. Click through for the top 10 moments that captured our attention, and be sure to check out the rest of our Best of 2013 content!
With a responsibility to promote his Broadway production Romeo and Juliet and his big screen return as Legolas in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Orlando Bloom has done lots of press following the news in late October that he and Miranda Kerr had formalised their separation. It means that he has been the main voice for the former couple in dealing with questions about their current relationship status — following the split the two were spotted looking friendly in NYC with their son, Flynn, multiple times — saying that they “love each other. We’re a family, and we’re going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives.”
Now Miranda has opened up on the topic in the January/February issue of Harper’s Bazaar (on sale now), echoing what Orlando has stated before. Miranda told the magazine, “It’s difficult for anyone to go through a separation, whether it’s on a public scale or not. It was very important for us long-term to preserve our friendship and the dynamic of being loving parents to Flynn so we dealt with everything openly and honestly. We respect each other and with respect comes understanding. When there’s understanding, I guess everything is a little more harmonious.” She also revealed that the family of three will still be a unit at Christmas because she and Orlando are “trying to do our best to support each other.”
As 2013 draws to a close, it's time to reflect on the stars we couldn't get enough of throughout the year. Music veterans such as Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé continued their world domination and a New Zealand teenager was anointed the new darling of pop; Jennifer Lawrence cemented herself as one of Hollywood's most talented and likeable personalities, and Kate Middleton handled her pregnancy, the most-watched in the world, with grace and poise. These aren't the only stars who made 2013 a memorable one — click through to find out who else got us excited and talking this year.

Every year there are the supermodels that stop us in our tracks. Whether it's a newsworthy runway return (Miranda Kerr for Stella McCartney), the models turning their hand at design (Lara Bingle), or Australian supermodels causing a stir internationally (Jessica Hart) these homegrown beauties got us talking this year.
As 2013 comes to an end, take some time to reflect on the women we spoke about — and looked at — the most this year. And if you're feeling a little nostalgic about the the year that was, get more of our 2013 recaps here.
Come now, admit it. You outfit repeat. Whether you have that go-to outfit to pull on Monday mornings (or Friday nights) or you own that signature piece you can’t stop wearing, we know you do it too. In fact, despite having walk-in wardrobes (and stylists) that any fashion girl would kill for, celebrities do it as well. Yep, even Miranda Kerr, Jessica Hart, Olivia Palermo, Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne and Keira Knightley recycle like the rest of us.
Hollywood glamazon Keira Knightley wore her vintage Chanel wedding dress not once, but three times, taking out our prize for the most laid-back bride ever. And with outfits that amazing, why not get your wear out of them? Head into the gallery to see all the celebrities who re-wear their favourite pieces time, and time again.
Trends may come and go, but real classic beauty will never fade — and that's why we'll never, ever tire of seeing creamy nude lips on the mouths of our favourite celebrities. The thing about "nude" is that the colour actually encompasses hundreds of different shades. Just like everyone in the world has slightly different skin colours, we all also present a slightly different colour when we leave our lips bare or coat them with a matching lipstick. Jessica Alba, for example — her nude is a light berry shade, while Diane Kruger's natural colour is a pale and creamy shade. Miranda Kerr has a hint of pale pink to her lips, while Jennifer Hawkins has the lightest berry undertone. Whichever look you're going for, you can take inspiration from the celebrities in this gallery. Sure, they like their bright pinks and oranges, too — but paring things back never looked so good.
While we love style stalking celebrities across the globe, there's something amazing about spotting a home-grown talent taking the red carpet (or the street) by storm. And as we come to the end of 2013, internationally and at home, 20 Australian women's wardrobes really stood out, each for their own, unique personal style. But you'll have to head into the gallery to see who made the cut.
