Miranda Kerr, Cate Blanchett and Megan Gale Hit the 2012 AACTA Awards

A host of Australia's A-list braved the humidity in Sydney last night for the first ever AACTA Awards — our answer to the Golden Globes — which were held at the Opera House. Cate Blanchett, Miranda Kerr, Rachael Taylor and Asher Keddie all wowed on the red carpet and although Claudia Karven's matte red lip was a hit with us, it was definitely all about the hair. Miranda typically went for bombshell waves, while Megan Gale worked with the heat, not against it, sporting a style with lots of full, natural-looking body. Our top three has to be: Asher's beach wave up 'do, Cate's textured short style and Rachael Taylor's slick strands.
