Mix Orange Lipstick With a Red Dress Like Dree Hemingway

I'm quite the fan of teaming a red dress with red lipstick. Alexa is, too. It's why we get along so well. But Dree Hemingway is doing her best to convince me to go orange on red instead. It shouldn't work. It should clash. We all learnt what went with what when we were in Year 3 mixing sand into our salads. (Side note: how many more words beginning with 'w' can you fit into a sentence?) Orange and red were like the Vampires and Werewolves of the colour scene. Sworn enemies. Until little Miss Hemingway wandered in and changed all that. I like it. It mixes two of my main loves and is a bit more fun and flirty than classic red on red, dontcha think?
