Highlights From the 2013 SAG Awards
The 2013 SAG Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium in LA yesterday, the latest glamorous outing for awards season favourites. Anne Hathaway added another award to her collection when she scooped up the honour for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role. During her speech, Anne started to tear up as she thanked her mother, who is also an actress, for inspiring her and hopefully giving Anne some support on the award ballot. She said, "Thanks mum for voting me, or at least she better have!" Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey both won awards for their final seasons of 30 Rock, with the latter thanking her friend and Golden Globes co-host, Amy Poehler, for giving birth to Lena Dunham. Ben Affleck took home another big win when he and the cast of Argo won outstanding performance from an ensemble in a motion picture.
Other highlights included Jennifer Lawrence winning outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role for Silver Linings Playbook, marking her first SAG Award win. Dick Van Dyke graciously accepted his lifetime achievement award while thanking all of the actors in the room for taking acting to another level. Claire Danes celebrated her new mum status when she accepted the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series, telling the audience that it not only takes a village to raise a child but also to put together a TV show. The cast of Downton Abbey took home one of the biggest surprises of the night when they won outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series, beating out Homeland and Mad Men for the win. 2013 SAG Awards: Sofia Vergara
Sofia Vergara stepped onto the red carpet at the 2013 SAG Awards in a Donna Karan Atelier gown whose pearly-white drapery did nothing but accent her bombshell curves. Sofia kept the sex appeal on high with her dress's thigh-high slit, which parted to showcase her covetable shoes: peep-toe Charlotte Olympia pumps in a matching shade of white. Diamond drop earrings — which peeked out from behind her wavy hair — and equally sparkling rings, both from Neil Lane, finished her outfit off with additional shine. Are you on board with Sofia Vergara's look?

2013 SAG Awards: Ariel Winter

Modern Family cutie Ariel Winter has gone for a whimsical look for her SAGs appearance today, wearing a corsetted prom-style gown by Australian red carpet king Alex Perry. Her sheer sleeves are prettied up via delicate floral appliqué, and a full tulle skirt which adds to the princess-y feel of her frock. Swarovski's 'Kiosque' crystal box clutch is Ariel's finishing touch. Are you feeling it?

Claire & Hugh Celebrate Homeland at Fox's Bash With the Modern Family Crew
The Fox Network celebrated the Golden Globes with a party inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA yesterday. The Modern Family cast, including Ariel Winter, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen and Sarah Hyland, hung out inside. Sofia Vergara, who had been nominated for — but didn't clinch — her fourth consecutive supporting actress in a TV comedy Globe, made the rounds. Glee's Jane Lynch ate dinner with her wife, Lara Embry, as Fox head honcho Rupert Murdoch was on hand to congratulate his network's big winners.
Homeland was fresh off a series of wins, including individual acknowledgments for leads Claire Danes and Damian Lewis. Both actors celebrated with their spouses, Hugh Dancy and Helen McCrory, respectively. Another Fox program, New Girl, had its stars on hand. Zooey Deschanel, in her red Oscar de la Renta ball gown, brought her boyfriend, Jamie Linden.
2013 Golden Globe Awards: Sofia Vergara
If there's a celebrity we can rely on to bring some serious va-va-voom to the red carpet, it's Sofia Vergara. The Modern Family star stayed true to her bombshell aesthetic in a curve-hugging black gown that needed little in the way of added accessories, thanks to an all-over glittering finish. With that in mind, the actress finished the look with just one major cocktail ring and a pair of sparkly earrings that peeked out from underneath her sleek, straight locks.
