Oscar de La Renta to Launch Nail Polish and Lipsticks - The Essential Luxuries Collection

After sending models — complete with faux bobs and jewelled headbands — in an array of red carpet-worthy gowns down the runway at his Fall '12 show, it's been revealed that Oscar de la Renta will up the ante in the beauty world, launching a cosmetics line called The Essential Luxuries Collection. Featuring six nail polishes, three shades made their debut at New York Fashion Week — Essential Red Carnation (bright red), Essential Aubergine (rich eggplant) and Essential Larimar (baby blue) and six lipsticks, the collection is set to launch Stateside in October. There's no word yet on Australian release date so for now we'll just have to console ourselves with the launch of Oscar's latest fragrance, Live in Love, which hits counters in April.
