Paper Giants' Asher Keddie's Hair and Makeup at the 2012 Logies

If Asher Keddie doesn't take home the Gold Logie tonight, she can at least console herself that she's topping my Best Dressed list! The Offspring actress is also ticking my beauty boxes for daring to try a new look on the red carpet. So often we're inundated with sultry smoky eyes and racy red lips — and little else — but Asher has bucked the trend, opting for a muted metallic brown shadow with the pigment extended underneath the lower lash line. It's a wearable take on "grunge-glam", with the emphasis fully being on the glam in Asher's case. If you love it, follow her lead and pair it with a natural lip, luminous skin and sleek hair styled away from the face.
