I love Paul & Joe Beauté. Its old-worldly packaging gets me every time. Most recently we saw them kitsch it up with an Alice in Wonderland collaboration and the deal was sealed. It was love forever after. Until now. See its latest lipsticks are, well kooky to say the least. First up, before you open the casing, you think typical Paul & Joe stuff: Ooh pretty, me want. LOVE the soft, feminine designs. But crack this baby open and you'll think, "What's new pussycat?" Oh, just that the lipsticks themselves are etched out to form the faces of kittens. Riiiight. As you do. I am creeped out, man. Sure lots of people like cats, but on lipstick?? Hmmm. Thoughts?

I would be creeped out if it were lipstick for cats to wear. With the way people are dressing their animals it would not surprise me. XO

I luv cute..but I prefer to have it limited to packaging or if teh cuteness doesnt impact the effectiveness...HOW WOULD I APPLY THIS LIPSTICK....SWIPING DOWN THE SMOOTH CENTER OR PUCKER AND USING TEH TINY CAT EARS??? DWL!! too crazy for me...

I don't necessarily find it creepy, but it seems really impractical. The slanted bullet shape of most lipsticks is functional for gliding over the lips easily for better application. How is this going to make for an easy lipstick application without having to use the addition of a brush/fingers/whatever? Unless you always use a separate tool for applying lipstick (and never apply bullet-to-lips), it seems this would get a little annoying.
