Penn Badgley is keeping busy after Gossip Girl, promoting his new film, Greetings from Tim Buckley, at the Tribeca Film Festival. I got the chance to sit down with him and discuss his role as the famous late singer/songwriter Jeff Buckley, as well as his experience with playing music. Take a look!

There was plenty to keep us occupied this week as we farewelled Winter here in the Southern Hemisphere (hooray!) and celebrated various events taking place in our Northern counterparts. The 69th Venice International Film Festival kicked off on August 29, and we watched a bevy of beautiful people — such as Kate Hudson — as they got into the party spirit. But it was more of a family-filled week for some of our other favourite celebrity mums, like Hilary Duff and Michelle Williams — they were snapped taking their cute kids out to farmer's markets and for ice-cream in LA and New York, while back down under, a couple of "foxy morons" celebrated the release of their first film, Kath & Kimderella.
