With the IWC Filmmakers Dinner, Chopard's Mystery Party and the premiere of Killing Me Softly all happening overnight, Cannes served as the place to look for inspiration of the glitzy, glamorous kind. British beauties Gemma Arterton and Bonnie Wright were amongst the IWC Filmmakers Dinner attendees, while models Erin Wasson, Anja Rubik and Liu Wen made the Chopard party all the more beautiful. Also out and about: Diane Kruger, Natasha Poly, Irina Shayk, Rita Ora, Kelly Brook, Petra Nemcova and Cassie Ventura. See the most popular looks.
In honour of Earth Month, Josie Maran (pictured left) is rereleasing her eponymous brand's cult favourite argan oil with an added charitable element. The beauty entrepreneur even recruited some of her model pals, Petra Nemcova (pictured right) and Angela Lindvall, to design the limited-edition bottles for the line's Model Citizen campaign. Available at Sephora, through QVC, or on Josie's site from now, 10 percent of the profits from the sale of the oils will benefit the Happy Hearts Fund (through Petra's design), Healthy Child Healthy World (through Angela), and Women For Women International (through Josie). Additionally, Josie and Petra are sharing their tips for going "chicological" (that's chic, high-performing and ecological) with us. For starters, "I think using kinder, gentler, healthier ingredients overall — especially if you're wearing makeup every day — makes a huge impact on the beauty of your skin," explains Josie. See more of what the duo had to say about greening your beauty routine, when you read more.
There are always a select few who bring out the sexy factor on the Oscars red carpet and its accompanying after parties. This year's batch showcases Jennifer Lopez in not one, but two plunging necklines from Zuhair Murad, Heidi Klum in a sexy couture minidress by Versace, and Kate Beckinsale in sultry Roberto Cavalli cut-outs. Meanwhile, Hollywood beauties like Angelina Jolie and Irina Shayk showed off their sexy pins in thigh-slit gowns by Versace. Check out the slideshow to see who wore the sexiest gowns on this year's red rug.
Some of our favourite designers, models, and celeb cum designers came out for yesterday's Accessories Council ACE Awards. Nicole Richie — who received Influencer of the Year — looked sleek in a black Antonio Berardi gown (this designer's popularity is rapidly growing of late) while model Coco Rocha stunned in Zac Posen and a necklace from her brand spanking new Coco Rocha for Senhoa line. Petra Nemcova went for a siren-red gown from Notte by Marchesa (Marchesa designers Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman attended the event). One of the honorees of the night was accessories darling Rebecca Minkoff, who won the Breakthrough Award. She looked super chic in a black cocktail dress and one of her own clutches. The big winner? Philip Treacy, who picked up Designer of the Year. Click the slideshow to see more style highlights from last night's ACE Awards.
