Photos of Carla Bruni Looking Like She's Had Plastic Surgery

It always worries me when I see celebrities' faces change. Especially when they were so beautiful to begin with. Take Carla Bruni, who's obviously having a bit of a tough time of late what with having to diffuse rumours of infidelity on both her and her husband's part. Not exactly great news when your husband is the French president. Now she's gotten the media in a frenzy all over again with a string of plastic surgeons lining up to say that she has had considerable work done, sending the gossip mills into overdrive and drawing unsavoury comparisons to real-life catwoman, Jocelyn Wildenstein. I just think, Why, Carla? Those once-pretty eyes look like narrow slits now. All the skin's been stretched. Rewind a couple of years and the only signs of ageing are slight (minimal) creases from the nose to the chin: a sign of smiling too much. Everything else looks picture perfect. Doll-like almost. Normally I'm one to keep an open mind but what with Heidi Montag and now Carla, I just find it sad. What with all the amazing anti-ageing creams, technologies and innovations out there to keep you looking good, yet natural, is this really preferable? Really? What are your thoughts? Has she gone too far?
