Wearing a navy Oscar de la Renta gown, Amy Adams attended the 16th annual Hollywood Film Awards yesterday looking as radiant as ever in a peaches and cream makeup palette. Celebrity makeup artist Stephen Sollitto complemented the actress's colouring with warm pink cheeks and lips. But it was Amy's gorgeous glow that put her in the spotlight. 1. A wet sponge: To start, Sollitto used Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Foundation with a wet sponge. "This dilutes it, and puts a light blanket so the skin looks healthy," he says.
2. A deeper shade of blush: "I often like two different colours on the cheeks," explains Sollitto. For the deeper shade, he chose Jouer's Blush in Rose to accent the shadow of her cheekbones.
3. A softer shade of blush: Sollitto next used a soft pale pink from the apples to the nose so that the blush colours blended cohesively. Says Sollitto, "Amy looked like the brilliant and beautiful movie star she is."
