"He liked the idea of a hooded effect on the eye," Nars lead artist Diane Kendal said. To create the shadow, Kendal swept on varying shades of grey on the lid, into the crease, and up to the brow bone. The rest of the look was kept simple, with a touch of cream blush on the cheeks and a swipe of balm on the lips.
