Rachel Zoe to Open DreamDry Blow Dry Salons in the US

Rachel Zoe Set to Launch a Chain of Blow Dry Bars

Rachel Zoe is piggybacking on the excitement of New York fashion week to announce her newest business venture: blow dries. The fashion designer and stylist is collaborating with former Creative Artists Agency agent Robin Moraetes to open a blow dry bar in New York City. Perhaps this is the endeavour she teased last month on her Instagram, where she announced "Working on designs for a secret project … stay tuned!"

DreamDry will make its debut later this year in the Flatiron district in the US, and the duo has plans to expand their business to other locations in the future. And while her website, The Zoe Report, already covers beauty as well as fashion, opening a salon is a big transition for the star. "To me, hair should be considered an accessory — it changes by event, season, mood," Rachel told People. "With DreamDry, we are creating a place where women can go to ensure that their hair is consistently as stylish and chic as they are."

Rachel promises that her blow dry salon will offer more than the average blow dry; maybe we'll get a glimpse of the innovative services backstage at her Spring 2013 runway show come Wednesday? Either way, we can only hope she'll bring DreamDry to Oz...
