Review of CK One Pure Color Lipstick in Red Vinyl

When I find a red lipstick I like, I tell the whole world. Wearing the classic colour is the easiest way to sharpen my beauty look, and as I'm always trying to transform myself into a beauty editor from the backseat of taxis' across Sydney, you can see how it has become my go-to hue (I'm also partial to an everyday orange but that's for another day). Last week I profiled Taylor Swift's love affair with a neat, red lip and gave you some tips on getting lipstick to stay; but things like texture, taste, ease of application and pigment are also really important to me. I've been trialling the CK One Pure Color Lipstick in Vinyl ($35), and I am obsessed. It is part of the Dark Matter collection — new on counter now — and has a semi-matte finish with an almost gold sheen. I ate a three course lunch yesterday and it didn't budge. Not one bit.
