Saturday night's BAFTA LA Jaguar Britannia Awards were a veritable who's who of Hollywood's A-list. Stars like George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Salma Hayek, Sean Penn, and Benedict Cumberbatch all descended on the Beverly Hills Hotel for the event, which celebrates individuals and companies that are dedicated to advancing the entertainment arts. George, who was also on hand for the screening of his latest project August: Osage County earlier in the day, mingled inside with Julia, Salma, and Sean before accepting his Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for excellence in film, while Benedict took the stage as the recipient of the British artist of the year honour. Other award winners included director Kathryn Bigelow, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Mandela star Idris Elba, who received the Britannia humanitarian award for his work with The Prince's Trust — the charity was founded by Prince Charles and helps disadvantaged youth in the UK. Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher made a glamorous couple at the gala, while Suki Waterhouse arrived without her current boyfriend, Bradley Cooper. Instead, the Emilia Wickstead-clad star spent her time with fellow British model Poppy Delevingne inside. Also making the rounds during the dinner were Naomie Harris, a newly brunette Alice Eve, and 12 Years a Slave actors Chiwetel Ejiofor and Lupita Nyong'o. Ejiofor's and Nyong'o's performances in the gripping real-life drama have already earned considerable Oscar buzz.
Award season may not have officially started just yet, but last night dozens of A-listers gathered in LA to attend a glamorous, star-studded event at LACMA. Kate Hudson, Salma Hayek, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Drew Barrymore dropped by the annual gala, which celebrates art and film. Naturally, since the party has to do with art, actor-turned-director-turned-artist James Franco made an appearance, and he mingled with Kate and Catherine Keener inside the bash. Meanwhile, Leonardo stayed close to his Wolf of Wall Street director Martin Scorsese, but did break away to chat with Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher, and Tom Hanks, whom he may be competing against in the best actor category this award season. On Friday, Leo dropped by LACMA again to stand in for Martin at a screening of Martin's Film Foundation's restoration of Rebel Without a Cause. Martin was apparently still at work in NYC working on Wolf of Wall Street, but he made it out for the museum's party last night.
After stylish stints in New York, London and Milan, stars have flocked to Paris for the last big week of Spring/Summer 2014 runway shows. Paris Fashion Week hosted much-anticipated designers like Chanel, Stella McCartney and Louis Vuitton, shows that once again drew a star-studded front row. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West left baby North at home in the US to attend the Givenchy show, where they were seated beside Ciara and Lily Collins. They also took the opportunity to have some Parisian date nights, and Kim was gifted with plenty of designer goods for her little one. Miranda Kerr hit the runway for Chanel and Stella McCartney, where she linked up with Cara Delevingne backstage, while stylish sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning attended Louis Vuitton, and Lena Dunham added her star power to Miu Miu.

From Miranda Kerr's bright red lip and lightened locks to Blake Lively's undone hair and glowing skin, celebrity makeup looks took us from one end of the spectrum to the other this week. Joining Blake in the "less is more" category, Diane Kruger opted for minimal makeup at a series premiere, choosing instead to play up her smooth skin and pretty eyes with subtle highlighting. Injecting some colour into the week? Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who, at a Modelco party on Hayman Island, wore the brand's Party Proof Lipstick in Parisian Pink ($16.95). So pretty, right? Nevermind dressing from day to night. This week, Salma Hayek has nearly set a record for costume changes. In fact, just yesterday, she put the idea of making one midday costume change to shame with a whopping seven wardrobe swaps while promoting new movie Grown Ups 2.
And considering she's married to French fashion mogul Francois-Henri Pinault, you better believe the actress has been delivering one spotlight-worthy look after the other! From summery florals to slick leather to a '70s-inspired wide-leg jumpsuit, Salma has had no shortage of inspiring ensembles from designers like Gucci and Saint Laurent. Want to see what we're swooning over? Just head inside for Salma Hayek's Grown Ups 2 promotion style.
Salma Hayek set the red carpet on fire when she attended the Grown Ups 2 premiere in NYC wearing a sexy Saint Laurent frock yesterday. She was joined at the event by her co-stars Chris Rock, David Spade and Adam Sandler, who was carried down the carpet by a casually dressed Shaquille O'Neal. Young Hollywood was also well represented at the bash as Taylor Lautner and Patrick Schwarzenegger, who both have roles in the new project, walked the press line.
Salma has been busy in the Big Apple with her press duties for her new film, which opens in Australia on Sept. 19. Before she jetted off to the USA, Salma was making the rounds in her adopted home of Paris for the Haute Couture Fall 2013 shows. She was hardly the only star who took in the fashion fun — Kristen Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper all popped up in the City of Light for the week of stylish events.
Celebrities are often considered to be Hollywood royalty. They have massive fan bases, their public appearances can cause a frenzy, and they live lavishly with the money they make. In the presence of queens, princes, and princesses, even the biggest names in the industry can get a little starstruck. Click through the gallery to see which celebrities have had encounters with royal subjects.
Londoners got a major treat last night when singers like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, Mary J. Blige, and Ellie Goulding belted out their famous tunes for a good cause at The Sound of Change Live concert presented by Gucci as part of its Chime For Change campaign. The evening raised $4.3 million USD in ticket sales and will fund about 200 projects in 70 countries around the world — all in support of girls' and women's empowerment. Beyoncé, who performed a special 45-minute set as the show's headliner, looked flawless in a black sheer and leather ensemble. Other stars that didn't need to sing to look stunning were Zoe Saldana, Freida Pinto, Blake Lively, and Jada Pinkett Smith. If you didn't catch up live yesterday morning (it did air at 3am, EST!), you can watch it on Chanel ELEVEN at 7.30pm this Friday June 7, or 7am on Saturday June 8. Or, you could just scoot inside now to see what everyone wore to this spectacular London affair.
