Sneak Peek: Illusions d'Ombre de Chanel Autumn Makeup 2011 Out July 31

We say it with every new collection, but this really might just be Peter Philips' great work yet. Illusions d'Ombre de Chanel had us sighing "c'est magnifique" as soon it landed upon our desk. The three new metallic polishes obviously caught our eye, but it was the Illusion d'Ombre shadow pots that really had us head over heels. A new shadow formula that's best described as a whipped gel-mousse; there are six shades available — all as shimmering as they are sexy. Complete with their own travel-friendly brush, they're a steal at $48 each. Standout shades include Épatant (a mesmerising antique gold), Mirifique (a sultry night-time black, complete with blue-green glitter) and Illusoire (an iridescent plum). Sigh. J'adore.
