When Valentino invites you to a party, you frock up! The designer's celebrity friends put on their best glad-rags for yesterday's launch of Valentino Garavani's Virtual Museum in NYC, displaying their flawless party style in the process. Sarah Jessica Parker jzushed up her vintage Pauline Trigere frock via a statement-making Fred Leighton necklace and elegant Manolo Blahnik pumps, Olivia Palermo got glitzy in Marchesa, Claire Danes got racy in Valentino red, and Stephanie Pratt surprised us in a sleek black onesie. Our favourite? Rachel Zoe, without doubt. Step inside to get a dose of celebrity style inspiration for the party season ahead!
The MTV Video Music Awards always bring out the best (and worst, in Kanye West's history) in people. And while they lack the couture glamour of the Oscars and the Golden Globes, they still pull out all the stops and the stars come a-flocking. They're taking place in the US on Sunday so we'll be bringing you all the action from the red carpet on Monday morning. But before then, let's refresh our memory about last year's ceremony and Lady Gaga's raw meat dress!
Sob. 2011 Fall New York Fashion Week is drawing to a close, which means we bid farewell to our celeb spotting on the Front Row. This week, we spotted Liv Tyler and Chloë Sevigny rocking racye red lips, and today Kate Bosworth, Kerry Washington and Zoe Saldana turned up to Calvin Klein. Ch, ch, check it out! Got a fave celeb look from NYFW?
Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore smiled on the red carpet at last night's LA premiere of Tangled, their upcoming animated version of the classic fairy tale Rapunzel. Pop US caught up with Zach to chat about his excitement on joining the Disney family, and he said it feels "epic" to know that kids will dress as his character for Halloweens to come. Mandy was off to join her dressed-down husband Ryan Adams inside, but she first told us that if she were trapped in a tower for 18 years like her character, she hopes there would at least be Wi-Fi. She and Zach didn't spend much time together while making the movie, but they did record a duet for the soundtrack. They've been promoting it separately as well, with Mandy making a recent solo stop on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Lots of celebrities shared funny candid moments this week by sharing their pics on Twitter. Before causing controversy on Howard Stern David Arquette partied in LA, while Chris Colfer spent time with the Glee Cheerios. Dannii Minogue took post-X Factor shots and sister Kylie posed with a candle. Click through to see all the shots, and don't forget to follow us on Twitter for exciting news and exclusive photos!
New York, I love you. I really do. That's why I'm giving you the best possible send off — with a salute to the Front Row Girls. Y'know those A-listers who added that extra element of star power and glamour to New York Fashion Week and made our job all the more fun. Already the "It" girls, like Leighton Meester, are wearing trends from the shows, so sit back and enjoy the Top 20 beauty looks from the girls on the front row . . .
With two days left of New York Fashion Week, I'm beginning to feel withdrawal symptoms already. Actually I lie, I'm not — because to fill the void the Big Apple will leave in my heart, we'll have London next week. Then Milan. And don't forget, we'll always have Paris. Oh-em-gee this is too, too exciting.
Day Six at NYFW didn't let us down when it came to delivering a star-studded front row. Most notably the lovely Sarah Jessica Parker came out for the Halston presentation, Olivia Palermo for Tibi and Alexa Chung was spotted (quite literally) at Mulberry. Catch up on all the excitement of day six in our gallery.
Leighton Meester celebrated another day at NYFW by letting loose at V Magazine's party at the Standard Hotel last night. Her interest in clothes may be more than just a hobby, as Leighton recently revealed interest in starting her own line. Allure cover girl Blake Lively is busy making the press rounds for The Town, but Jessica Szohr was in the front row today at Max Azria's Hervé Léger show. Jessica is a regular at presentations, and Bella sat down with her to talk beauty secrets and makeup advice. Kanye West, whose "Runaway" VMAs anthem is getting better with more listens, attended Rodarte, as did Rachel Zoe. Tiffani Thiessen stopped by the Rachel Roy presentation and Stephanie Pratt went to Vera Wang. There are just a few days left to go in NYFW, so stay tuned for celeb, style and beauty news.
The white carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards was full of bold fashion choices and beautiful ladies alongside plenty of hot guys. Lady Gaga didn't disappoint in a dramatic ensemble, while Katy Perry paired colourful hair and her nail art with a barely there dress. She met Russell Brand at last year's VMAs and while he wasn't by her side this time, he was on her manicure. Rosario Dawson kept it simple in a leather-like purple number, and Emma Stone opted for the real thing with a short LBD. Ashley Greene represented the Twilight cast in lacy black and white, and presenter Sofia Vergara's sparkles rounded out the group of glam girls, which also included the ladies of The Hills. Be sure to vote for best dressed and weigh in on all the looks with Fab and Bella's love it or hate it polls!
