Taylor Momsen Loves Red Eyeshadow
Givenchy and Taylor Say Red Eyeshadow Is Hot, Think So?

I've always had my beef with red eyeshadow. It's something that I've never been able to get past. Even after years of therapy. I just don't get why it exists. Save for Halloween, when it can quite handily make eyeballs look as though they're bleeding. Noice. Even when Pat McGrath teamed a glistened up and glossy red pout with a co-ordinating shade of shadow for Givenchy's Fall 2010 show, I wasn't moved. Same when she lined the lids of Prada models in red glitter the year before. But now Taylor Momsen's saying that along with eyeliner — lots and lots of eyeliner — red eyeshadow can also be found in her "bounty of products." She told Interview magazine: "Lately I have been using red eye makeup!" Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Taylz and I are on the same page — the stripper shoe I do not do — but it's on its way to becoming a big trend. And I'm just not sure how I feel about that. How's about you, do you think it's hot? If so try NARS Eyeshadow in Grenadines ($48), Illamasqua Powder Eye Shadow in Angst ($39) or Bellapierre Shimmer Powder Eyeshadow in Resonance (approx $11.85).
