Anna Paquin, who wore a sexy black David Koma dress, was loved up with her husband, Stephen Moyer, at the season six premiere of their HBO hit show, True Blood, yesterday in LA. The couple were joined by a host of their co-stars, including Alexander Skarsgård, Carrie Preston and Joe Manganiello, who had his girlfriend, Bridget Peters, on his arm for the night's festivities. While celebrating the premiere of his latest season, Stephen also revealed highly anticipated details of his private life with Anna. While discussing his upcoming Father's Day plans on the red carpet (it's on Sunday in the US), he revealed the names of his twins, a boy and a girl, whom Anna gave birth to back in 2012, when he shared that he'd be spending Sunday "hanging out with Charlie and Poppy."

Anna and Stephen were not the only stars to make headlines concerning their private lives since Alexander recently sparked rumours that he was once again romantically involved with his The East co-star Ellen Page. Although he fuelled the speculation by planting a sweet kiss on Ellen last week, the duo are reportedly "just friends."

The setting may be picturesque, but it's hard to take our eyes off those abs, which are — thankfully — front and centre in many of his scenes for the hit vampire show. With Sookie and Bill on the outs, perhaps there's a door open for romance with Alcide in season four. As for Joe, he plays it coy about any spoilers for the upcoming season and the six-pack he has to maintain for the part, saying, "If Alcide was described as weighing 300 pounds with a comb-over and missing his front teeth, that's what I would look like."

Alexander Skarsgård made a hot cover model for US GQ's June issue. He's out and about chatting up his big-screen project Straw Dogs, which he shot nearly two years ago in Louisiana. Production on the film gave Alexander a chance to meet his current real-life leading lady, Kate Bosworth, though he didn't speak about her in the magazine. Instead, Alexander touched on working with married co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer in True Blood and what it was like growing up in Sweden with a famous dad, actor Stellan Skarsgård. Alexander said in GQ:

  • On working with married couple Anna and Stephen: "It’s really clear to Steve and to everybody else what the deal is — which is that Anna is like a sister to me . . . Those love scenes take quite a bit of acting, actually. A lot of acting."
  • On joining the Swedish military: "It was my way of going off into the unknown. I didn’t want to just be somebody’s son."
  • On life in Sweden: "You walk into the coffee shop, and the girl asks how your day is. When I first moved here, I loved that. I know it’s shallow and superficial and she doesn’t give a f*ck about my day, but I still like it. It’s difficult to get to know a Swede. But once you do, you’re in . . . You’re never going to see a television show The Skarsgårds."
  • On his famous dad Stellan: "I don’t think I came to acting to compete with my father. But, you know, he wasn’t around as much as normal dads, and seeing his passion . . . Maybe it was a way to get his attention . . . I mean, if anything, we’re trying to take care of him. He’s over the hill."
