Nail News: Twilight Beauty Expands to Include Nail Polish

How long will Twilight mania continue? Only Alice Cullen may be able to predict that. But what I can say is that if you're a Twihard, you may be interested in Twilight Beauty's Nox Twilight Nail Polish. The word Nox is Italian for the Roman goddess of the night. You know, a nod to the Volturi, who reside in Italy an' all. The bottles are decked out with a pewter Cullen coven crest and each of the 12 shades is supposed to represent of a member of the Cullen clan. But with names like Red Velvet, Disco Darling and Citrus, I'm not quite seeing how these names pay homage to each of the characters, you? Are you interested in them or ovah it?

I haven't seen all the color names but I believe the Disco Darling could be a reference to the Disco themed grad party Alice did for she, Edward, and mainly Bella.

When I first saw this I immediately was like 'Why would anyone buy them, they've got to be absolutely terrible.' And then I searched for reviews and swatches, and while there are some colors I wasn't a fan of, some of them looked pretty darn awesome and overall, people have seemed to like them.

Yes, there's no Sunshine, but there is Disco Darling. I haven't read all of the books, but I don't remember the Cullens going to Studio 54. And instead of Citrus, wouldn't it be Apple? Do they eat Red Velvet cupcakes in there, or does Jasper have a secret Siouxsie-inspired outfit? The mind reels!

Edward has a sunshine theme 'cause after Bella becomes a vampire, she describes Edward as smelling like 'sunshine'. When you are a vampire, everything (or everyone's blood) has a specific distinct smell.
