Vote on the Best Beauty Release of 2011
2011 Sugar Awards: Vote on the Best Beauty Release of 2011

With approximately 8,091 beauty products being launched every month, it can be hard to short list the best, let alone find a winner! But find one we must, so let's meet the nominees. First let's turn our attentions to a product that helped nails become such a talking point this year: Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips. Made from real polish, the easy-to-apply stickers come in different designs with limited edition seasonal patterns also up for grabs. From glitter to leopard print to neon, painting nails got a whole lot easier in 2011. Also launching this year were two designer makeup collections that had beauty editors dancing with delight: Burberry Beauty and Tom Ford makeup. Burberry's all neutral tones, English rose pinks and, naturally, check-inspired packaging. Meanwhile Ford's offering is an extension of the designer himself: suave, sophisticated and impossibly sexy. But both have a main contender in the form of Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector which caused a frenzy when Kate Middleton and Emma Watson got their hands on the anti-ageing miracle cream (clinical studies say it rivals retinoic acid but without the side effects) ahead of anybody else. Which gets your vote?
